Why I Created The Simplicity Series

When life feels overwhelming, it’s hard to know where to begin. So many of us are juggling routines, expectations, and responsibilities that never seem to pause. I created The Simplicity Series to offer a different starting point—one that doesn’t ask you to do everything, but invites you to do one thing with clarity.

Simplicity, to me, isn’t about having less for the sake of it. It’s about bringing forward what truly matters so you can build a life and home that supports you.

When I work with clients, the moment we take time to step back, write things down, and talk through what's going on, everything starts to feel lighter. The chaos becomes less mysterious—and more manageable.

That’s what this series is about:
Simplifying before we build.

Before we dive into routines, organizing systems, or household schedules, we pause. We think. What do you really want your home to feel like? What would make your days flow better? Maybe it's calmer mornings. Maybe it’s being more present with your kids. Maybe it's just keeping up with the laundry.

Whatever it is, we start there—and then we build backwards.

If your goal is more quality time with your kids, for example, ask:
What tends to get in the way?
What would support that time better?
Maybe it’s reclaiming 15 minutes a day. If that keeps slipping away because laundry’s always behind, then we focus there—on simplifying the laundry routine, not just for the sake of it, but because it opens the door to what matters more.

Each step backward is really a step toward something better.

You don’t need to fix everything. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need one starting point—something that matters to you.

From there, we keep things simple. We move step by step, building a home life that supports your goals instead of working against them.

This process isn’t about perfection. It’s about clarity. It’s about putting down the pressure to do it all, and instead choosing to do what helps—one piece at a time.

That’s what The Simplicity Series is here to support—one small, meaningful step at a time.
